How to Get to Crested Butte
Fly: Daily nonstop air service is available from Denver to Gunnison/Crested Butte on United Airlines and from Dallas to Gunnison/Crested Butte on American Airlines. Convenient connections are available from other major airports. The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is 30 miles from the Gunnison/Crested Butte airport. Rental cars and the Alpine Express Shuttle are available at the airport.
Drive: Located near the center of the state, Crested Butte is easy to get to no matter where you're coming from. And the drive through the mountains is extraordinary! Drive time from Denver is a little over 4 hours.

Getting Around Crested Butte
Upon arrival in Crested Butte, you can walk to the slopes from the Lodge at Mountaineer Square. Or step out your door to the new transit center where you can take the free shuttle bus three miles to the historic town of Crested Butte. The free shuttle runs every 15 minutes from many convenient locations.
